Create your invitation in five screens, with or without an account

The creation flow is the same full-screen assistant in two places: from the website, without an account, or from your space, once you’re logged in. It has five screens; a bar at the top shows where you are, and a button lets you leave at any time (“Close”).

   Who for?

   Choose the celebration: wedding, bar mitzvah, bat mitzvah, brit milah, birthday and engagement are visible right away; the others are behind “All celebrations”. Then write the names: they’ll appear on every design. Button: “Choose my design”.

   The design

   The designs offered for your celebration play for real, with your names, in a phone frame. Filter by style, change the colors, tap the invitation to try it, then “Choose this design”. The date, venue and program you see are samples: yours come right after.

   When and where?

   Enter the date and time, or check “I don’t know the date yet”: the date will then be asked for before you publish. Tov shows the Hebrew date and flags Shabbat and holidays (see the article on Shabbat, Yom Tov and the Omer). The venue and the signature are optional here, but needed to publish.

   The program

   Check the moments of your celebration (chuppah, reception, kiddush…), with their day, time and audience: “Everyone” or “By invitation”. This screen only appears if the date is complete and the celebration offers moments; you can also choose “Skip this step”.

   Preview

   “Your invitation is ready”: open it, listen to the music, try replying. A summary recalls your choices, and each line takes you back to its screen (“Edit”). You can also write “Your words”, an optional note for your guests.

A screen only opens once all the ones before it are filled in. If the celebration has no moments to offer, or if the date isn’t known, the program screen is skipped: the flow then has four steps.

2Without an account, then with one

Without an account, everything stays in your browser, for 30 days: nothing is sent to Tov before you sign up. At the end, “Save my invitation” opens sign-up (or “Log in to save it” if you already have an account). When you come back, a “Your invitation is on its way…” page creates your celebration and takes you to your space, at the “Prepare” step.

If you’re already logged in, it’s “Create my invitation”: the celebration is created right away, as a private draft. A draft stays invisible to your guests until you publish it.
