Who sees my invitation? Draft, links, moments, memory page
A draft is private. A published invitation opens with a link, is not indexed by Google and shows each household only its own moments. Plus the memory page.

An invitation contains information that is meant only for your guests. Here, in plain terms, is who can see it and what Tov does so that no one else gets in.
A draft is private
As long as you have not published, your guests see nothing: anyone who opens the address lands on a “not found” page. The same goes for a published invitation with no real date. Only you, and your collaborators, see it from your space, with the preview.
A published invitation opens with a link
- A household’s personal link is signed by Tov: it cannot be guessed. It opens the invitation with that household’s moments only.
- The general link (the invitation’s address) shows the “Everyone” moments. A “By invitation” moment is never sent to the browser of someone who is not invited to it.
- Invitation pages carry a “do not index” instruction: they are not meant to appear in Google. They are not kept in a shared cache either.
- A forwarded personal link replies in the name of the original household: do not post it in a group.
Who sees what in your space
The event’s owner can do everything. An editor prepares the invitation, manages the guests, sends on WhatsApp and can export the replies; they cannot delete the event, archive it, change its privacy, or invite another editor. A viewer can look at the guest list and the check-in, and can export the replies, without changing anything.
A viewer can export the replies, including the dietary requirements (kashrut) and allergies your guests have given. Only invite people you trust as viewers.
The memory page
Tov offers a memory page for the event, linked from the invitation once the event has passed. It is published by default. It shows overall numbers (who came, reply rate), up to 12 recent messages with the name of the person who wrote them, and approved photos. It never shows individual replies, emails or phone numbers.
Tov does not ask guests whether they agree to their message being shown on this page, and the reply form does not say so. If you prefer not to show it, hide it: the setting is on the memory page in “Follow up” (“Memory page published” / “Memory page hidden”). Once hidden, its address shows a “not found” page.
Photos
The album photos in the “Notre histoire” design are the ones you chose: they are served only to an accessible invitation, never in modesty mode, and are not indexed. Guests do not upload any photos.
