Track responses

Track your guests' responses in real time with Tov.events' dashboard and tracking tools.

Dashboard

The dashboard is your real-time overview of your event's status. As soon as you log in, you see the essential information at a glance:

  • Total guests — how many people are on your list.
  • Responses received — how many guests have responded (confirmations and declines).
  • Confirmations — the number of guests who confirmed, with the total number of expected attendees (plus-ones included).
  • Pending — guests who haven't responded yet.

The dashboard updates automatically and in real time. With each new response, the counters and statistics are instantly refreshed. You don't need to reload the page.

It's your daily starting point for managing your event and knowing exactly where things stand in the planning.

Guest list view

The "Guests" page gives you a detailed view of each person on your list. You'll find all the important information organized in a clear table:

  • Guest name and contact details (phone, email).
  • RSVP status — pending, confirmed or declined, displayed with a visual color code.
  • Number of plus-ones — how many additional people the guest is bringing.
  • Category — the group the guest belongs to.
  • Send status — whether the invitation has been sent or not.

You can filter the list by RSVP status (all, confirmed, declined, pending) and by category to quickly find the information you need. Individual and bulk actions are accessible directly from this view.

Message feed

The message feed is a dedicated space that gathers all the messages left by your guests when they respond to your invitation. It's a heartwarming space where you'll discover your loved ones' words.

The message feed offers several features:

  • Filter by status — display all messages, only from those attending, those not attending, or unread messages.
  • Unread badge — a visual indicator alerts you to new messages you haven't read yet.
  • Mark as read — messages are automatically marked as read when you view them.

Messages include the guest's name, their response (confirmation or decline), the number of people announced and the personal message they left. It's a valuable tool for staying connected with your guests and feeling their enthusiasm.

Tip Check your message feed regularly so you don't miss any words from your guests. New messages are indicated by a badge on the Messages tab.

Understanding statuses

Each guest on your list has an RSVP status that clearly indicates where they are in the response process. Here are the possible statuses:

  • Pending — the guest hasn't responded to the invitation yet. They may not have seen it or haven't made their decision yet.
  • Confirmed — the guest has confirmed their attendance. The number of people announced (themselves + plus-ones) is indicated.
  • Declined — the guest unfortunately won't be able to attend.

Statuses are displayed with an intuitive color code (yellow for pending, green for confirmed, red for declined) that gives you an immediate overview of the response status.

A guest can change their response after submitting it. If a guest changes status (for example from confirmed to declined), the new status is automatically updated in your dashboard and guest list.

Response history

Tov.events keeps a complete history of all responses received for your event. Each response is timestamped and recorded, allowing you to track the evolution of your confirmations over time.

The history lets you:

  • See when each guest responded — the exact date and time of each response.
  • Track changes — if a guest changes their response, both versions are kept.
  • Identify trends — see whether responses come in waves or gradually.

This history is particularly useful for planning reminders: you know exactly which guests haven't responded yet and for how long. It's a valuable tool for making informed decisions about your event planning.

Export data

Need your guest data outside of Tov.events? The export feature lets you download your complete list with all associated information.

Exported data includes:

  • Contact information — each guest's name, phone and email.
  • RSVP status — each guest's current response.
  • Number of plus-ones — for each confirmed guest.
  • Messages — the personal messages left by each guest.
  • Category — each guest's group membership.

Exporting is useful for sharing the list with your caterer, wedding planner, or any other vendor. You can also use it for a final review after your event and to keep a complete record of all attendees.

Arrival check-in

On the day of your event, the Arrivals page (accessible from the menu as the date approaches) lets you check in each guest as they arrive. A +/− counter next to each name lets you adjust the number of people actually present.

Check-in displays the total arrived versus confirmations in real time. You can search for a guest by name to find them quickly. Each check-in is confirmed by a discreet visual notification at the top of the screen.

Detailed statistics

The Statistics page offers an in-depth view of your event through visual charts. You'll find the response breakdown (confirmed, declined, pending), response trends over time, and the overall response rate.

Statistics help you make informed decisions for planning: how many seats to reserve at the restaurant, how many chairs to order, etc. Charts update automatically with each new response.

Note The Statistics page is available with the Premium plan. The free dashboard displays the essential counters (confirmed, declined, pending).

Gifts − expenses balance

If you have enabled gift tracking and budget in settings, a balance appears on your dashboard: it's the difference between total gifts received and total expenses incurred.

This balance gives you a clear financial picture of your event. It also appears on the Gifts and Budget pages. All currencies are automatically converted to your event's main currency using exchange rates updated daily.
