How it works
Set Up Tables
Create tables with names and seat counts — round, rectangular, or any shape you need.
Drag Guests to Seats
Drag each guest to their table. The system shows their category and RSVP status.
Print & Share
Print the seating plan or share it with your event team.
Drag & Drop Interface — Totally Intuitive
The Tov.events drag-and-drop interface makes seating arrangement feel natural and effortless. See your guest list on one side and your tables on the other — simply drag each name to their seat.
Move guests between tables with a drag, add new tables with a click, and resize any table (number of seats) easily. The system warns you when a table is full, so you'll never accidentally seat 12 people at a table for 10.
Visual Venue Layout
See your entire venue layout on screen — tables arranged with guest names, empty seats clearly marked, and category colors distinguishing the groups. This gives you an instant overview of whether the arrangement makes sense.
The visual layout helps you spot issues: Are the groom's and bride's sides mixed up? Are the couple's friends seated together? Is Uncle Morty far enough from Aunt Sheila? Everything is visible at a glance.
Filter by Category & Status
When you're seating 300 guests, you need smart tools. Filter the guest list by category — show only the groom's side, or only work colleagues — and seat each group separately.
You can also filter by RSVP status: show only confirmed guests, so you seat the people who are definitely coming first and leave flexible spots for those who haven't responded yet.
Smart Alerts
The system automatically detects issues and displays alerts: an overfull table, a guest not assigned to any table, companions not seated with their primary guest, or tables that are too empty.
These alerts help ensure your seating plan is perfect before the event — no surprises on the big day. You can dismiss alerts that don't apply (for example, if you intentionally left a table with 6 out of 10 seats filled).
Print & Share
When you're done arranging, print the seating chart in a clear format: a list by table, or a visual venue layout. You can also export to PDF for sharing with your event team, venue, or caterer.
You can also share a view-only link with planning partners — your spouse, parents, or event planner. Everyone can see the arrangement and give feedback.
Synced with RSVPs
The seating chart stays synced with the RSVP system. When a guest cancels, they're automatically marked as "not attending" in the seating chart and their seat opens up. When a new guest confirms, they appear in the "unassigned" list.
This lets you update the seating plan in real time, right up to the last minute before the event. No need to maintain two separate lists — everything syncs automatically.
