Tov.events speaks your language! Discover how to enjoy the platform in French, English, Hebrew or Spanish.

Interface language

The Tov.events interface is fully available in 4 languages: French, English, Hebrew and Spanish. You can change the interface language at any time.

The language affects all interface elements:

  • Menus and navigation — all buttons and links are translated.
  • Messages and notifications — confirmations, errors and information are displayed in your language.
  • Site pages — help center, contact page, templates, legal notices.
  • Event editor — all creation and management tools are translated.

Your profile language and your invitation language are independent. You can perfectly use the interface in English while creating an invitation in Hebrew for your Israeli guests.

Multilingual invitations

One of Tov.events' strengths is the ability to create invitations in each guest's language. It's an essential feature for multicultural events (mixed weddings, international families, multilingual communities).

The invitation content — title, welcome message, practical details — can be written in each of the 4 available languages. Each guest will see the invitation in the language that suits them.

Translated elements include:

  • Invitation text — the main message written by the organizer.
  • Guest interface elements — RSVP buttons, response form, labels.
  • Contextual vocabulary — terms adapt to the event type ("the couple", "the bat mitzvah", "the birthday celebrant", etc.).

AI translation

Tov.events integrates an AI-powered translation assistant (Google Gemini) to help you create multilingual invitations effortlessly.

The AI assistant can:

  • Translate your invitation from French to English, Hebrew or Spanish (and all combinations).
  • Adapt the tone — the translation respects the style you've chosen (elegant, festive, casual, understated).
  • Preserve cultural context — expressions and phrasing are adapted to each language's culture.

AI translation is a high-quality starting point that you can then adjust and personalize. You always keep final control over your invitation text. The AI can also help you write the original content of your invitation if you need inspiration.

Tip Write your invitation in your native language first, then use the AI assistant to translate it. Always review the translation before publishing, especially for proper names.

Right-to-left (RTL) support

Tov.events natively supports languages that are written right-to-left (RTL), particularly Hebrew. It's an essential feature for French-speaking communities in Israel and bilingual families.

RTL support includes:

  • Mirrored layout — the entire interface (menus, buttons, forms) automatically adapts to RTL direction.
  • Adapted typography — fonts are optimized for perfect display of Hebrew characters.
  • RTL invitation — when the invitation is in Hebrew, the entire invitation layout displays right-to-left.
  • Mixed content — the system intelligently handles text that mixes Hebrew and French/English (bidirectional).

Switching to RTL mode is fully automatic: as soon as you select Hebrew as the language, the interface and invitation adapt without any action on your part.
