Received an invitation via Tov.events? Here's how to confirm your attendance or decline in just a few clicks.

View the invitation

Once the link is open, you'll see the complete invitation with all the event details. Take a moment to browse through it and discover:

  • The organizer's message — a personal and warm text inviting you to the event.
  • Date and time — when the event takes place (sometimes with a countdown).
  • Venue — the event address, with a button to open directions in Waze.
  • Practical details — dress code, gift registry, items to bring, and any other useful information.
  • Google Calendar — a button to add the event directly to your calendar.

The invitation is designed to be beautiful and easy to read on all devices. Enjoy the design and animations that make each invitation unique!

Confirm or decline

At the bottom of the invitation, you'll find the RSVP form. This is where you indicate whether you'll attend or not. The form is simple and quick to fill out:

  • Your response — click "I'll attend" to confirm or "I can't make it" to decline.
  • Number of people — if you're confirming, indicate how many people will come (yourself + plus-ones).
  • Your message — leave a note for the organizer (congratulations, thanks, questions, etc.).
  • Additional questions — the organizer may have added questions (dietary restrictions, menu choice, etc.).

Click "Send" to submit your response. You'll receive a visual confirmation that your response has been recorded. The organizer will be immediately notified of your response.

Change your response

Changed your mind or need to update your response? No worries! You can change your response at any time by going back to the invitation link.

When you reopen the link, the invitation recognizes that you've already responded and lets you update your response. You can change your status (confirm instead of decline, or vice versa), update the number of plus-ones or edit your message.

The change is instant: the organizer will automatically see your updated response in their dashboard. Feel free to change your response as many times as needed.

Note Keep the invitation link (in your WhatsApp conversation, for example) so you can easily access it if you need to change your response.

Simplified RSVP mode

Some invitations use a simplified mode specially designed for people who are less comfortable with technology. Instead of the standard form, you'll see two large buttons: "I'll attend" and "I can't make it".

Just tap the button matching your choice — that's it! Your response is recorded immediately. This mode is enabled by the organizer to make things easier for all guests, especially older people or those unfamiliar with websites.

Adding companions

When you confirm your attendance, the form asks how many people will accompany you. Enter the total number of people (including yourself). For example, if you're coming with your spouse and two children, enter "4".

For some events, the organizer may also ask for the names of your companions. Fields will appear automatically for you to fill in. This information helps the organizer prepare seating and the table plan.

Custom questions

The organizer may have added extra questions to the response form. For example: dietary restrictions, menu preference, transportation needs, or any other question useful for planning.

Take the time to answer these questions — your responses help the organizer plan everything so you have a great time. If you're unsure of an answer, you can always update your response later by returning to the invitation link.
